Strategy Map sample diagrams for Visio 2010

System requirements                   Instructions                     Online view

Build your own strategy maps with these sample diagrams for Microsoft Visio 2010. When you create a Balanced Scorecard using Microsoft PerformancePoint Services in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, you create a strategy map report that uses a Visio diagram for its visual structure. To save time and effort, you can modify these sample diagrams to suit your needs. The Balanced Scorecard sample diagram contains several shapes representing a wide range of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the financial, customer, internal, and learning and growth perspectives. The small version of the Balanced Scorecard sample diagram corresponds to the strategy map created in the TechNet article “Create a PerformancePoint strategy map as part of a Balanced Scorecard.”

What am I looking at?

The diagram you can see here is a web view of the sample diagram, published through Visio Services. Using the controls at the top, you can change which section of the diagram you see, zoom in or out for a closer or wider view, and even see linked data sources through the shape information pane.

With Visio Services and either Visio Professional 2010 or Visio Premium 2010, you can publish any type of diagram (static or data-linked) to SharePoint, so others can view the diagram without needing to have Visio installed on their machines.
