Airline reduces IT operating costs by 10 percent with automated tracking system

​Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes needed a more organized way to manage its numerous, small IT projects. Using a new, advanced workflow template in Microsoft Visio Premium 2010 that can export workflows to Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010, the airline automated the IT department’s project-tracking process. The new system has reduced the time it takes to complete IT projects by 15 to 20 percent, while cutting the labor required in half.
